Privacy

Privacy policy, in plain English.

Most privacy policies are long because they hide things. This one is short because it doesn't. Last updated 4 May 2026.

Who I am

This site is owned and operated by Anthony Ligyat, a growth marketing consultant based in Sydney, NSW, Australia. The contact email for any privacy question is hello@anthonyligyat.com. There is no team, no parent company, and no third party who is "actually" running this site behind me.

What this site collects

Three things, no more.

1 · Aggregate analytics, via Google Analytics 4

I run GA4 to see which pages are read, where readers come from, and which articles people finish. GA4 is configured with anonymised IP addresses and consent-mode-v2 defaults. I don't link visits to any identifiable person on my end. I look at the GA4 dashboard maybe once a fortnight.

If you'd rather not appear in GA4, you can install a content blocker (uBlock Origin, Brave's built-in shield, or a privacy extension), use a private window, or opt out via Google's official GA opt-out. None of those affect your ability to read the site.

2 · Contact form submissions, via Formspree

The contact form is processed by Formspree, a third-party form service. When you submit the form, your name, email address, subject, and message are sent to Formspree's servers and forwarded to my Gmail inbox. Formspree's privacy policy is here. I don't store your submission anywhere beyond my inbox, and I don't add you to any list.

3 · Anything you email me directly

If you write to me at hello@anthonyligyat.com, that email lives in my Gmail inbox. I read it, I usually reply, and I keep it for as long as the conversation is useful. I don't auto-add you to any list.

What this site doesn't collect

Cookies, the short version

This site sets one set of cookies — the GA4 ones — for the analytics described above. They expire automatically (the longest is 13 months). I don't sell or share cookie data with anyone, because I don't have anyone to sell or share it with.

Where the site is hosted

Static HTML hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare keeps standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, request timestamps) for the usual security and abuse-detection reasons. Their privacy policy is here. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which is also a Google property covered by their general privacy policy.

Your rights, if you're in the EU, UK, or under similar laws

If you'd like to know what data I have about you, ask me to delete it, or correct anything that's wrong, email hello@anthonyligyat.com and I'll respond within seven days. Australia's Privacy Act 1988 also gives anyone the right to ask. I treat all such requests the same regardless of jurisdiction — I'd rather just do the right thing than parse which law applies.

Changes to this policy

If I add a newsletter, a comment system, or any tool that changes what's collected, I'll update this page and bump the date at the top. The previous version of this page is preserved in the site's git history.

Question?

Email beats reading any policy.

If something here is unclear or you'd like me to delete data, just write.
